U4 Announces Dry Loop DSL

SYRACUSE, Indiana - September 18, 2008 - U4 offers Dry Loop DSL in select areas in Indiana. You may have never heard of the term “Dry Loop” because it has not been available until recently. This means you can get DSL without having it associated with a phone number.

“Why do you want Dry Loop DSL?,” asks Rich Hays, Director of Marketing. “Since there is no phone number required as part of the DSL service, you can save money by porting your current phone number to U4VOIP. The reduction in cost is about $10 to $20 depending on the VOIP Package your get.”

Bill Dixon, Chief Operations Officer said, “We know of no other company in the state of Indiana offering Dry Loop DSL.”

“Speeds of 768K/128K, 1.5M/128K, 1.5M/384K, 3.0M/768K, and 7.1M/768K are available,” said Director of IT, Bob Brown. He continued, “The speed of your connection will depend on a number of factors, so call us at 877.562.2584 to find out how fast you can go!”

“U4 knows that numbers mean very little unless you can put it into perspective, CDs hold about 73 minutes of music.” Brown continued, “If you downloaded the CD via a dial-up modem at 56k, it would take 2 hours 54 minutes, on a 1.5M DSL connection, it would take 6 minutes, at 7.1M it would be less than 30 seconds.”
